Come play for the only organization in WNY registered and competing in the ASA 18U Gold circuit for the past 3 years.  See the results and where our kids are going and what college coaches are regular followers of the Battery Lightning at www.leaguelineup.com/lightningelite.  Expand your recruiting possibilities beyond WNY schools and be seen by and recruited by programs from far and wide.  *Our kids do not need to leave our program and play for other programs to meet their recruiting needs and stretch their vision of schools.  In only 6 years and 3 graduation classes and without multiple teams at each age group our results speak for themself and our product remains pure.

Again, opportunities at 12U, 14U, Elite and 18U Gold.  Register now on our website to help us expedite the check in process and thank you very much for considering our program.

Theresa Clancy- Officially a Pitt Panther!!!

Battery Lightning Gold- Theresa Clancy '12

The University of Pittsburgh

UPDATE!!!

We are very proud to announce that Theresa Clancy is officially a Pitt Panther.  After watching Theresa extensively during the Stop DWI Showcase in Binghamton, NY this past weekend (7/6-7/8) Coach Aprile notified Theresa and her family that she would join the other 7 recruited freshman this Fall.  Theresa will start her journey to Pitt this August where she will be living with her new teammates and begin her student/athlete career. The hard work and dedication combined with her leadership and class made this possible for Theresa and we are proud to be a small part of that with her.

We love you "T"!!!

(Previous Post)
"T" is never a kid to pass up a challenge and this is no different.  Passing on top programs that were actively recruiting her (Most notably University of Albany) "T" decided to take the most challenging road and will walk on at Pitt.  An absolute wall behind the dish and a true leader who is like a coach on the field, "T" is the sweetest and most coach-able player on the planet but do not be fooled by her smile as she is a gamer and as a competitive as they come.  Her great work in the classroom at Mercy allowed her the benefit of many top flight academic schools to choose from.  Her work ethic and continued hard work on the field this spring and summer will only help her meet her goal of making the Panthers roster.

Congratulations Theresa!!!
