Battery Lightning's-Mackenzie Cleary verbals to St. John's!

Mackenzie Cleary of the Battery Lightning Gold has verbally accepted an offer of athletic scholarship to attend St John's University of the Big East Conference.  Mackenzie is a 2013 grad who has worked hard honing her skills and playing the last few summer/fall seasons for the Battery Lightning Gold at some of the best Gold Showcases in the country.  Join us in congratulating Mackenzie as she joins the long list of Battery Lightning players to go on to play in college in only our few short years of existence.

***The Battery Lightning is a very select organization which operates with 3 teams: 14U-Elite-Gold and has quickly become a formidable player in the ASA Gold circuit.  We play up and concentrate on development and exposure at the younger ages rather than playing for trophies and championships at lower level events.
